  1. In the Trojan war, the Trojans were tantalized by the thought of winning the war, and they were tired of using martial tactics to attack the enemy. Instead, the used more skill and built a Trojan horse filled with soldiers, so they could put their enemies lives in jeopardy.

  2. The Trojan War was a martial battle between the Greeks and the Trojans. The very beginning of the war was tricky because most of the Greeks did not want to fight and put their lives in jeopardy. The famous Greek hero Odysseus actually pretended to be a psychopath and plow the beach to try and escape fighting in it, but was proved to be sane when the messengers threw his son, Telemachus, in front of the plow. He stopped the bulls and then was forced to go on the odyssey. The war went on for ten years. Many died, including Ajax (a Herculean man) and Achilles ( the nearly invulnerable hero. When the war was finished, some people made it home quickly, while it took Odysseus ten more years to make it home.

  3. During the Trojan War when the Achaeans when to Troy to take back Helen, they had a martial strategy that put many men in the position of putting their life in jeopardy. They made a huge horse and put men inside of it, so when they sent it to the other side of the wall they could all come running out of the horse and kill their ememies. This was a very precarious move by them.

  4. In the Trojan War, a famous warrior was Achilles whose forte was fighting. During the end of the Trojan War, the Greeks built a large wooden hose as a fake peace offering to the Trojans. The Trojans were mesmerized by the colossal horse and brought it into their city. When the horse had been brought in, the many Greek soldiers burst out and used their knowledge of the martial arts to eliminate Troy.

  5. Achilles, great warrior of Greece, always empathized with his good friend Patroclus, be it during times of hatred or love. But Achilles, filled with pathos after the slaughter of his friend by Hector, decided to end his "rebellion" against King Agamemnon, and went out to the battlefield to slay this Trojan, Hector. His victory was short-lived, however, as Paris, aware of Achilles' foible, his ankle, shot a poisonous arrow directly through it, which slayed him.

  6. In the Trojan War, the Achaeans (the Greeks), were mesmerized by Helen, daughter of Leda, who was queen of Sparta, and Zeus. To get Helen, who was in Troy, the Achaeans began a martial war. It seems to me that this was a rather precarious reason to start a war, but according to many people, Helen had "the face that launched a thousand ships".

  7. In the Trojan War, a war waged between Troy and the Greeks, who expressed antipathy towards Troy. The most famous moment of the war was when the greeks made a wooden horse and left it near the city. The Trojans who were mesmerized with the amazing piece of workmanship, took it into the city. Little did they know that they were putting their very lives in jeopardy. The greeks were inside the horse and once they made it inside the city, they took over. That is what I know about the Trojan War.

  8. The Trojan War began when Prince Paris of Troy kidnaps Helen of Greece. King Menelaus, Helen's lover, was filled with pathos towards Troy because of this, and he proclaimed war. The Greek fleet sailed to Troy, and many many martial battles were fought. Perhaps when the Greeks tired of the battles, they devised a plan to build a great horse of wood as a decoy to sneak into Troy. The Trojans, tantalized by the thought of victory, held a great celebration, which involved all of the soldiers being drunk. Under cover of night, the Greeks snuck out of the horse, and signaled soldiers from outside to attack, crushing the Trojans.

  10. In The Trojan War I know was a war fought in troy over the kidnapping of Helen of Greece who was so beautiful that her beauty mesmerized every man. The kidnapping or Helen was a jeopardizing move on their part. The other famous event that everyone has heard of, Achilles. Achilles was a fierce fighter and his forte was in martial combat but like the tendon in our calf muscle it was his weak point and he was killed.

  12. The Trojan War began due to a fight among the gods. Eris, the goddess of Discord, was mad at the gods because she had not been invited to the wedding of the mortal Peleus and the nymph Thetis, who later on became the parents of Achilles. Eris, enraged at the disrespect that had been shown towards her, crashed the ceremony and threw a golden apple which said "For the Fairest". 3 goddesses, Athena, Hera, and Aphrodite, all claimed to be the fairest. The other gods knew better than to get involved in a quarrel of beauty between the goddesses, so Zeus looked for a mortal to do the judging. He thought Paris, a handsome young mortal, would do a good job, and sent the 3 goddesses to him. Hermes appeared before Paris, and told him to give the apple to whomever he thought was the fairest. Paris was uncertain as to which of the erotic goddesses in front of him was the most beautiful, so they each decided to offer him a gift should he choose them. Athena offered him wisdom and skill in battle, Hera promised him control over all of Asia, and Aphrodite offered him the love of the most beautiful woman in the world. Being a young, fairly dumb man, Paris had little interest in power and wisdom, and decreed Aphrodite to be the most beautiful, little did he know that his cupidity would later on cause his downfall. Aphrodite was thrilled, and kept her promise, not caring at all that the most beautiful woman in the world, Helen, was married to the King of Sparta. Clearly, common sense was not her forte. She sent Eros to shoot an arrow at her to make her fall in love with Paris, which he did. Once Helen saw Paris, she fell in love with him, and she and Paris eloped. When Helen's husband, Menelaus found out, he was furious at this philistine-like gesture, which showed the Trojans had no sense of respect for the Spartan culture. Luckily for him, Helen's father had made all her suitors swear an oath that they would all help protect Helen's marriage. Helen's beauty had attracted a catholic variety of suitors from all over Europe, Asia, and Africa, which all helped win Helen back from the Trojans. The Spartan army took a very martial approach, and they had Athena and Hera on their side, as they were still seeking revenge towards Paris for choosing Aphrodite over them. Finally, after years of battle, the Spartans overpowered the Trojans through the art of deception. They built a giant horse and presented it to the Trojans as a gift that symbolized their defeat. If the Trojans had one foible, it would be their love of gifts, and the magnificent wooden horse was no exception. The Trojans were mesmerized by it, and, in a moment that lacked precarious thoughts, they took it into the city, celebrating their enemies' defeat. Then, in the dead of the night, the Spartan army crept out of their hiding place inside the wooden horse, and preformed a sneak attack on the Trojans, who were caught off guard, and ended up losing the war.

  13. The prologue to the Trojan War started with a judgmental contest, the judge being Paris, a young Trojan prince. The goddesses in the contest were to win a golden apple thrown on the floor by Eris, god of discord. They included Hera, Athena, and Aphrodite. Each of the goddesses fought for the apple like psychopaths. Aphrodite won the apple and promised Paris the most beautiful woman in the world, the mesmerizing, "Helen of Troy". Helen was already married to her husband King Menelaus of Sparta. King Menelaus felt precarious about a possible event. He believed Helen was going to get kidnapped from him. Somewhere the process Odysseus used martial tactics to created a disguise and trick Achilles to gain the effort of rounding up troops.

The stories are very interesting and have many characters that get all tied together and mixed up in love and war and cupidity.
