  1. The form of the Lemon Sabayon with Grapefruit is like a sauce drizzled over small pieces of grapefruit. It's in a small glass cup so it's easier to handle and to put in small portions. It contains grapefruit, lemon juice, sugar, eggs, butter, and grapefruits. The tone of it is like a light dessert that is healthy. I'd say the occasion would be maybe a small gathering during the summer. I'd say it's audience would be sophisticated adults, because it's not a very big portion. Though it's not completely fancy with it's presentation, I still kind of get the whole organized and fancy vibe from it.

  2. The form of The Asian-Flavored Snack Mix is combining popcorn, rice cereal, chow main noodles, Asian rice cracker snack mix, cashews and wasabi peas in a very large bowl, and then putting melted butter on top of that and mix it, these are all the contents. Then You bake it in the oven for 1 hour. The tone should be a good snack that is very filling and should feed multiple people, but is not too healthy with the butter. It should look nice and be very creative looking. The occasion is for when a group of people are hungry for a snack. The audience, i think, is more of a teenager to adult age, because The chow main noodles would not be very appealing to a younger child.

  3. The form of "Kool-Aid Marshmallows" is a type of marshmallow made with Kool-Aid to give it a different flavor. It has many ingredients or content including; Kool-Aid mix, water, powder gelatin, sugar, light corn syrup, sea salt. Also for presentation pop rocks and classic coating. I would say the tone is light and friendly. The occasion would be maybe at a birthday party or as a fun snack. And so the audience would be for younger kids and moms would read this recipe to make it for kids but i also think kids up to teenagers would enjoy this snack. It is not very elegant or sophisticated but it is bright, colorful, and grabs your attention. I would definitely try it!

  4. Eyeball Cupcakes are cupcakes that have white icing and an eye in the middle made of candies with red icing for veins. First you need to get some cupcake liners, batter, butter cream frosting, red food coloring, pastry bag with a rounded tip, black jelly beans, and candy with a hole in the center. fill the liners two-thirds full. Frost the whole cupcake in white icing first then add the red food coloring for the veins. Finally add the candies placing the black jelly bean in the center of the other candy. The tone of this that it should look food is scary and gross. Looking at it it should taste vey bad if it was a real eyeball. The main occasion to make these cupcakes would be for halloween or a halloween party. The audience of this dessert would range from little kids all the way up to adults. However it would most likely be served at a Halloween party for small children.

  5. The form of, or actually "Poached Salmon Fillets with Watercress Mayonnaise"'s form includes the following ingredients: mayonnaise, watercress leaves, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, water, white wine, a shallot, parsley sprigs, one thyme sprig, and salmon fillets with skin. Combine first the water, wine, shallot, parsley and thyme in large skillet and then place the fillets of salmon into the skillet. After simmering in a medium heat, move salmon onto a platter and chill the fillet for four hours and discard the wine mixture. The dish's tone I would attribute to a casual, friendly one. This dish seems like a great choice for a non-formal lunch, perhaps at home. The occasion could require low carbs, and this would also fit that occasion. I could imagine eating this with a friend that has come over for lunch. The audience, of course, would be ones who seek a low carb meal and enjoy seafood, like me. In an age sense, I would have to say that this dish would be suitable for almost all adults, and perhaps also some teenagers. I say this because I personally do not think that children seek low carb meals, or enjoy eating seafood that is cold. They would probably be more inclined to seek more elegant and refined meals, like a McDonald's Kid's Meal.

  7. Lisa Loeb's Peanut Butter and Jelly cookies have a gooey center of jelly surrounded by a mass of peanut butter cookie. The main ingredient is, or course, peanut butter and jelly. It also contains unsalted butter, brown sugar, eggs, flour, salt, baking powder, and whole milk. Next, you need 1/2 cup of all fruit jam (jelly). The form of the cookies is circular with a mass of jelly in the middle of an outline of cookie. The tone is easy, happy, and kiddy. The occasion would be perhaps for kids after a sports practice or for a sleepover, or maybe even a snack after school. The audience would be younger kids, or perhaps adults who remember loving peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Now they can eat peanut butter and jelly in cookie form.

  8. The recipe I chose was for a mascarpone-filled cake with sherried berries. The contents of this cake included flour, baking powder, baking soda, butter, sugar, vanilla, eggs, sherry, cream, mascarpone cheese, and berries. The form that these ingredients took was a cake. I think the occasion for this cake would be a casual gathering of friends, probably in the spring or summer. The tone of this cake is a little sophisticated because of the fancy mascarpone cheese and the sherry, but also light, because it is not a very formal cake. I think the audience for this cake would be adults, because it contains alcohol and fruit, two things that don’t usually appeal to children.

  11. I chose the Monster Pops recipe. The content of this recipe is cake mix to make the cake balls, purple candy coating, a white candy writer, chocolate jimmies, a blue edible-ink pen, and a black edible-ink pen. The form of this recipe is to chill the cake balls in the refrigerator, melt the purple candy voting in a microwave-safe bowl and the coating should be about three inches deep for easier dipping, dip 1/2 of the tip of the lolly pop sticks into the coating mix, insert about 1/2 an inch of the tip of the paper lolly pop sticks into the cake balls, dip the cake balls into the coating mix, tap off any excess coating, let the cake balls dry in the Styrofoam block, pour the remaining purple coating into a large squeeze bottle, drizzle lines all around the monster head (cake ball), let them dry in the Styrofoam block, pipe two small white circles with a candy writer for the eyes, insert 2 chocolate jimmies before the coating dries, then finally let the cake monster balls dry completely. The occasion of this recipe is to celebrate Halloween, and the tone of this recipe is cute, a little scary, and sweet (taste). The audience for this recipe would be little kids at a Halloween party and maybe teenagers and adults at a Halloween party.

  13. The recipe that I chose was for the Zombie Cupcakes. The contents of these cupcakes were Oreo cookies, semisweet chocolate, flour, baking soda, salt, butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, sour cream, water, chocolate chips, ganache, green food coloring, piping gel, and (fake)flies. When all of the ingredients are mixed and baked together it takes the form of a cupcake. The tone of the Zombie Cupcakes are playful, childish, creative, and slightly gross (to me). I think a child’s Halloween party would be a perfect occasion for these cupcakes. I think the audience for theses cupcakes would be kids. I especially think that young boys would like these cupcakes because the cupcakes are a little bit creepy and gross, and I think little boys would think they are cool.

  14. The recipe I chose was a recipe for "Simply Splendid Sugar Cookies". The form and content are the ingredients which are butter, sugar, vanilla, baking soda, salt, eggs, flour, and sprinkles. The tone is light. They are small cookies and not very heavy, because they lack chocolate and caramel. They would be nice on a hot summer day. The occasion might be a small get together or party, most likely during the summer. The audience could be all ages. Children love to eat and decorate sugar cookies, but adults like finger desserts at social parties. I personally think these sound really good right now and they have very simple ingredients and assembling instructions.

  15. I have chosen the recipe for Raspberry Chocolate Chip Pancakes. To make this recipe or the contents of it is, unsalted butter, milk, egg, flour, baking powder, salt, raspberries, and chocolate chips. When you are done making the recipe you get pancakes! The tone of the pancakes are a way to start your morning with a good breakfast like this. A perfect occasion for this recipe is a morning when you have family or a guest. Pancakes are a great food to serve when you have a lot of people. Pancakes can bring people together! Audience for this recipe is a group of people in a home. Pancakes give me a homey feel.

  16. The form of Raspberry Chocolate French Macaroons contains sliced blanched almonds, confectioners’ sugar, large egg whites, salt, granulated sugar, chocolate, cream, raspberry extract, butter, and red or pink food coloring. Add the almonds to the confectioners’ sugar. Then, you beat the egg whites and add the granulated sugar and the food coloring of your choice. Combine your almond mixture with your egg mixture and put your new batter into a bag with a corner cut off. Then you cook small mounds of the batter on a cookie sheet. Mix the melted chocolate with the butter and raspberry extract, thereby creating your sauce. Place your sauce between the cookies making what looks like a red, mini-sandwich. The dessert’s tone is expensive, elegant, and delicious. The dessert’s occasion would probably be a formal event, party, dinner, wedding, and other similar things. Your audience would be adults because children are not often given desserts that seem more elegant and fancy.

  17. Fuji Apple Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting stars fuji apples, and the direction make it very clear that they are essential for the right flavor. Flour, baking powder, allspice, freshly grated nutmeg, baking soda, sugar, golden brown sugar, eggs, apple brandy, unsweetened applesauce, Fuji or Gala apples, cream cheese, unsalted butter, vanilla extract, salt, powdered sugar, and pecans create a beautiful two layer cake with a mildly sweet flavor. Mixing the dry ingredients for the cake separately from the wet, and then adding the two together makes the batter. For the icing, beat all the ingredients together, and then ice the cakes once they’ve cooled. This cake would be most appropriate for adults at any kind of dinner party of holiday. Winter holidays would be best, because apples are in season during winter. The theme is a little serious, but if the cake was festively decorated it could be more exciting. The audience is for adults, because of the sophisticated flavors of apples, brandy, and pecans. (Kids don’t like nuts.)

  18. Just the name Giant Chocolate-Toffee Cookies melts my mind with chocolatey goodness. This devine dessert's ingredients are as follows: flour, baking powder, salt, semisweet chocolate (chopped), unsalted butter, brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, chocolate-covered English toffee bars such as a Heath bar (chopped), walnuts. Preparing these cookies is a process that could take around an hour from start to finish. First, mix and whisk baking powder and salt into a small bowl. Then put butter and chocolate into the top of a double boiler to melt the mixture. Next, mix sugar and eggs into a bowl, and then mix in the chocolate mixture, some vanilla extract, toffee, and walnuts then chill the mix. Finally set the oven at 350 bake for around fifteen minutes. These cookies give off a warm and relaxing vibe that can be related to a midnight snack. This dessert can be for anyone of any age. The cookies can be served with a warm glass of milk to get kids to bed, or a cup of cappuccino to keep someone awake.

  20. I chose the recipe for the Peanut Butter and Fudge Brownies with Salted Peanuts. The form of this dessert is a peanut butter stuffed brownie with a peanut butter frosting and chocolate ganache. Its ingredients(content), include unsalted butter, bittersweet/semisweet chocolate, unsweetened chocolate, sugar, vanilla extract, salt, all purpose flour, peanuts, peanut butter, powdered sugar, nutmeg, and whole milk. First, you make the brownie. You mix the butter with the two types of chocolate and put them over low heat. You then add the sugar, vanilla extract, salt, eggs, and finally the peanuts. For the frosting, you use an electric mixer to mix the peanut butter, later adding the sugar, salt, nutmeg, and vanilla. For the ganache, you mix the chocolate and butter over low heat, and then put both the frosting and ganache over the brownie. This recipe could be used for any occasion, and is made for both adults and children to eat. The tone should be described as sweet, yet salty, creating a perfect blend between the two.

  21. Halloween is just like, what, 7 months away? Time sneaks up on us SO fast! Luckily, I found a recipe for gingerbread skeletons. This is great, because it takes delicious gingerbread cookies, which one would usually eat during christmas time, and adds a spooky element to it to give us an excuse to eat gingerbread cookies on halloween! This is by far the best recipe ever created using sugar, butter, water, flour, salt, nutmeg, baking soda, ginger, allspice, icing, and deadly molasses! To make these delicious cookies, you start by:
    1. Creaming the sugar and water together in a large bowl, later adding molasses and water to the mix.
    2. Then, in a different bowl of course, we mix in flour, salt, nutmeg, baking soda, allspice, and ginger.
    3. Slowly add the mixture from step 2 onto the mixture from step 1 until the dough stays together.
    4. Cover the dough and let them chill for 2-3 hours
    5. Preheat the oven to 375 F
    6. Take to dough out and roll it on a lightly floured surface until it's about 1/4 in. thick, then proceed to cut the cookies into cute shapes!
    7. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let them cool for a while, you don't want to burn yourself!
    8. Use the icing to give your cookies bones, eat, and enjoy!
This piece of heaven in the shape of a cookie is the perfect snack to give to kids (and the occasional teenager) on halloween, thanks to its creepy-yet-playful-but-not-in-a-weird-sort-of-way vibe it gives.

  22. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Chocolate-Dulce-de-Leche-Bars-242874

I chose a recipe for chocolate dulce de leche bars. The form of this dessert is a combination of shortbread, fudge cookies, and a caramel sauce (dulce de leche). The content/recipe of these bars includes the following ingredients:
    1 stick unsalted butter, softened
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
    1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup all-purpose flour
    1 cup heavy cream
    1 cup dulce de leche
    4 large egg yolks
5 ounces 60%-cacao bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped

To make these bars you would need a square baking pan, parchment paper, a bowl, an offset spatula, a fork, one saucepan, a wooden spoon, a whisk, an instant read thermometer, and a knife (for cutting the bars). The tone of this dessert is a sweet and salty (from the caramel) cake-like bar. It's a lighter dessert because of the smaller size, but I think just one would be enough. I don't think that these bars have a specific occasion that I would use them for. I would probably just make these if I were having some friends or family over, because they're simple enough, and they wouldn't be much of a mess to eat. Audience is same as I said before, I think that this dessert could work for any audience except maybe I wouldn't give it to small children because the bars aren't very bright, and the child might want something that is more visually appealing.

  23. I chose the recipe for chocolate-orange cookie stacks because well..who doesn't love chocolate and orange and cream put together into one dream team cookie? This recipe calls for 1 cup of chilled heavy whipping cream, a 2/3rd of a cup of frozen orange juice concentrate, partially thawed, 40 chocolate wafer cookies (about one 9-ounce package), and a finely grated orange peel. The form are cookies or, sandwiches made out of cookies. These cookies could be for any occasion. They could be made as a snack at home or a cocktail party. They are for chocolate lovers, not necessarily children because most children do not the zest of orange. The tone is a little more serious considering it is not decorated as much as other treats. It could be perhaps halloween-ish due to the dark brown or black of the chocolate cookie and the orange.

The ingriedients include 2 cups of sweetened flaked coconut, ingridients for basic butter cookies, and 1/4 teaspoon of almond extract. The ingridients for basic butter cookies include 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cup) unsalted butter, softened, 1 cup sugar, 1 large egg, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. The form of the recipe is the combination of butter cookies and coconut topping. The occasion for this is for a snack or treat, or for a event. The tone of the cookies is very sweet and rich. 25. The Food I chose was Farfalle with Sausage, Tomatoes, and Cream (type of pasta dish)
Form: this is pasta that looks like a bow-tie and it has spinach leaves and basil sprinkled on the top of the dish for flavor.
Content: you need olive oil, 2 Italian sausages, red pepper, chopped onion, garlic, crushed tomatoes, whipping cream, bow-tie pasta (farfalle) , basil, and roman cheese.
Tone: The tone of this pasta is complicated because of all the opposing ingredients that would taste nasty combining the two, but when the who ensemble of ingredients is put together, it comes out to be a good dish.
Occasion: could be for someone on a date, or even a good lunch meal.
Audience: To anybody who loves to eat pasta.

  26. The contents of "Vanilla Crème Brûlée with Raspberries" are raspberry jam, some fresh raspberries, some egg yolks, sugar, a vanilla bean, some whipping cream, and some golden brown sugar. The form of it is how you bring all of the ingredients together. The recipe starts in medias res when you preheat the oven. First, you have to spread the jam over the bottom of some soufflé dishes or custard cups and press some berries into the jam in each dish. To make the actual crème brûlée, you whisk the yolks and the sugar in a bowl to blend. Then, you have to scrape in some seeds from the vanilla bean. After that, you should gradually whisk in the cream. Divide this mixture among the dishes. Then, arrange the dishes in a baking pan and pour enough hot water into the pan to come halfway up the sides of the dishes. Then, you should bake the custards until they are set in the center. When they're done, place the pan on a work surface. You must cool the custards in water and, when they are cooled, remove them from the water. Let them chill overnight. After that, preheat the broiler and sieve some brown sugar atop each custard. Then, place each of the dishes on a baking sheet and broil them until the sugar just starts to caramelize. You must then chill them until the topping hardens. Finally, garnish them with the berries. The occasion might be a family get together or a social event at someone's house. The audience might be adults or maybe even some young adults.

  27. The food I chose is a "Baileys Pudding Parfait with Oatmeal-Walnut Crunch." When you're making it, you first need to preheat the oven (350°). You need a baking sheet, a bowl and a saucepan for the stove, an electric mixer, and a spoon for general stirring/mixing. The process for making the crunch is done by combining oats (1 cup), flour (3/4 cup), sugar (1/2 cup), coffee crystals (2 teaspoons), ground allspice (1/4 teaspoon), and salt (1/4 teaspoon) in a bowl and after the butter (1 stick) is rubbed in. The mixture is sprinkled on the baking sheet after and put in the oven. For the pudding, combine whipping cream (1 1/4 cups), Bailey's liqueur (12 tablespoons), sugar (3/4 cup), egg yolks (6), and nutmeg (1/4 teaspoon) in a bowl. Carefully, the bowl is placed over the saucepan of simmering water, making sure not to let the bottom of the bowl touch the water. Then use the electric mixer to beat the custard until it thickens, take off the heat, and then beat until it cools. After, mix in remaining liqueur and remaining cream. Cover and cool over night. Later, layer the pudding, currants, and the crunch in goblets.

The tone of the parfait is definitely more elegant and "fancy." If you click on the link, you'll see that they are served in glass goblets. Because one of the main ingredients is liqueur, the audience for this is adults because they are of age to drink and would be more keen of that flavor anyway compared to little children. The occasion could be any type of adult party, a fancy one or even just a gathering on the weekend.

The form of bourbon balls is a small ball made for consumption. To make them you just add all the ingredients (except the sugar) together and make a small ball shape. Then you want to roll that in the confectioner's sugar. The tone of this treat is fun and happy. The occasion is any time you want a good dessert or snack. 1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper, & 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce. Then add 1 cup of coarsely crumbled blue cheese. Stir until well blended. Lastly, cook bacon in large skillet over medium heat until golden brown and beginning to crisp. Arrange lettuce on plates. Spoon dressing over. Using slotted spoon, transfer warm bacon from skillet onto salads, dividing equally. Garnish with red onion. The contents of the wedge are 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice. 1 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper. 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce. 1 cup coarsely crumbled blue cheese. 1/2 pound thick-cut bacon, cut crosswise into 1-inch pieces. 1 large head of iceberg lettuce, cut into 6 wedges, each with some core attached. 1/2 red onion, very thinly sliced. The occasion in my opinion would be for a appetizer during a pretty formal dinner or a proper luncheon. And the audience would definitely be a more mature group of people.
